Oakville, Ontario, July 17, 2012 – VAC AERO is pleased to announce it is launching a new Thermal Spray Coatings column in collaboration with the International Thermal Spray Association, a standing committee of the American Welding Society. The new column, written by expert technical writers associated with the ITSA SPRAYTIME® newsletter will be published monthly and will offer helpful thermal spray coating applications, tips and techniques to commercial and captive surface engineers alike.
The purpose of this column is to inform, educate and answer questions for a worldwide audience of individuals using thermal spray coating methods. However, ITSA’s willingness to provide this service to VAC AERO readers does not imply their specific endorsement of the company or its services, but rather their desire to help the thermal spray community to understand coating applications better.
Keeping pace with the development of new technologies is one of VAC AERO’s main concerns; this is why we aim to provide our readers with important and relevant knowledge base articles and information that they are constantly seeking.
Since 1992, the International Thermal Spray Association has been publishing the SPRAYTIME newsletter for the thermal spray industry. The mission is to be the flagship thermal spray industry newsletter providing company, event, people, product, research, and membership news of interest to industrial leaders, engineers, researchers, scholars, policymakers, and the public thermal spray community.
