Rzeszow, Poland, (September 21, 2012) – Pratt & Whitney (United Technologies, East Hartford, CT) has qualified Vac-Aero Rzeszow (Plant 2), as a source of PWA 11-17 and -22 heat treatment processing for nonrotor applications. This new approval has now been added to the many other heat treating and coating accreditations that VAC AERO Poland has acquired throughout the years.
First established in 2003 in Kalisz (Plant 1), VAC AERO’s Polish divisions offer special processing services, including vacuum heat treating and brazing, vacuum carburizing, air plasma spray (APS) and HVOF protective coatings, as well as corrosion and oxidation resistant paint coatings. VAC AERO also operates a coating facility in Quebec that offers thermal spray coatings (plasma and HVOF), grinding and inorganic coating services to international Aerospace and other high-tech companies.
